Community Hands Foundation is a Tanzanian-based non-profit organization that focuses on community-based initiatives helping those in need. Our volunteers are primarily university students and recent university graduates. Our work helps to reduce poverty, provide education relating to multiple different issues, provide supportive health services, entrepreneurial training for women, help in renovating primary school classrooms, and much more. Most of our projects, programs, and services are directed at young people, primarily young girls, many of which have been forced to drop out of school due to pregnancy.
We also address problems from multiple angles bringing a comprehensive approach to every challenge we address. We never hesitate to partner with groups within our community, with local government, international organizations, or social entrepreneurs in order to develop solutions that make lasting changes possible for young people who are in need of help.
